The outcome of the procedure exceeded my very high expectations. I was able to walk unaided on the 3rd day and have not experienced more than soreness since. The post operative support and care was of the highest standard. I am indebted to the surgeon and his anaesthetist, who have succeeded in raising the quality of my life on the last lap to a level I could not possibly have envisaged.

I had been experiencing worsening pain symptoms in my right knee for five years and wanted to investigate exactly what was going on. A friend who had had both knees replaced recommended her surgeon, Mr Rajaratnam, at the Schoen Clinic. Mr Rajaratnam identified progressive osteoarthritis, and X-rays done at my first appointment showed bone on bone lateral disease. The options were clearly and comprehensively outlined to me and Mr Rajaratnam answered all my questions. I chose to have a total right sided knee replacement. I had full confidence in Mr Rajaratnam at all times and his team at the Schoen Clinic. I am now two weeks post-op and everything is going extremely well with my rehabilitation. I feel I have had exceptional care.

Very personable and professional and was even happy to see me at short notice on a Saturday to address concerns I had regarding the swelling, which was entirely normal. If you have a knee problem I would 100% recommend you go and see him.

Dr. Rajaratnam performed knee surgery on my Mother of 84 years; from the initial consultation through preparatory advice including referring an excellent physiotherapist and on to the surgery and follow-up Dr. Rajaratnam was professional kind and thorough and the surgery was entirely successful without complications.

In November 2022, Mr Rajaratnam performed a total knee replacement on myself with marvellous proficiency and professionalism. He showed great empathy and care. Recovery has been on course and with very little scarring. All aspects of the operation were discussed at the initial consultation and I am very pleased and thankful to him for the resulting vast improvement in my mobility.
